The Nigerian Army's 6 Brigade, Sector 3, Operation Whirl Stroke, has successfully thwarted a planned terrorist attack in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State. Two suspected terrorists, believed to be members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), were apprehended in separate intelligence-led operations on July 16, 2025.
