Just In – Verydarkman Accuses Group of Blocking Investigation into Mohbad's Death Using Social Media Manipulation

Controversial activist Verydarkman has released a new statement alleging that a coordinated group effort was made to prevent proper investigation into the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad. In a post shared online, he claimed that the individuals behind the effort deliberately created a distraction to stop calls for the interrogation of Mohbad’s partner, Wunmi, who was with him in the critical hours before his death.

According to Verydarkman, between day 32 and day 35 after Mohbad's passing, concerned Nigerians had begun urging police authorities to question Wunmi. He emphasized that Wunmi was with Mohbad in the 48 hours leading up to his death, including the night he reportedly passed away and during the moment his death was announced. Verydarkman argued that her account of events could provide vital information in uncovering what truly happened.

Instead of allowing due process, he alleged that a certain group of people conspired to shift public attention away from these demands. He claimed that the group crafted a caption and narrative which they pushed online to influence fans and stop further pressure on the police to interrogate Wunmi. This, according to him, served as a smokescreen to derail justice.

The group allegedly did more than just shield Wunmi from questioning. Verydarkman also claimed that they actively worked to prevent questions about missing CCTV footage from Mohbad’s home. He believes this was a key piece of evidence that could have shed light on the circumstances surrounding the singer's death but was instead ignored due to public distraction and manipulation.

In his post, he revealed that the private group chat contained messages showing how these individuals used the emotions of fans who genuinely wanted justice for Mohbad. By playing on their grief and anger, they reportedly redirected attention toward less critical narratives and away from hard questions and evidence.

He further alleged that justice was never the real intention of many involved in the movement. According to Verydarkman, some people joined under the guise of seeking justice but were instead focused on personal gains. He claimed that some were fighting over Mohbad’s properties, others had personal vendettas to settle, and a few were there to cover up the truth to avoid reputational damage.

This new claim by Verydarkman has reignited the conversation around Mohbad’s death and the possible mishandling of his case. Fans and followers have expressed shock and concern over the alleged manipulation. Many are now calling for renewed investigation and the release of any suppressed evidence, especially regarding the CCTV footage and testimonies from key individuals.

As public attention returns to the case, there are rising calls for authorities to revisit the events surrounding Mohbad’s passing with transparency. Whether these new allegations lead to action or deeper revelations remains to be seen, but one thing is certain, Verydarkman has once again stirred the pot and brought more questions to an already controversial case.
