Just In: Pastor EA Adeboye Urges Believers to Trust God Completely at Overcomers Convention.

Renowned General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has once again offered deep spiritual insight during the Holy Ghost Service of the ongoing Overcomers Convention. While addressing thousands of worshippers gathered at the Redemption Camp, Pastor Adeboye reminded believers of the importance of unwavering trust in God.

In his words, “Believe in God. God doesn’t gain anything by lying to you.” This powerful statement resonated strongly throughout the congregation and online viewers, reinforcing the belief in God’s unchanging nature and honesty. Pastor Adeboye emphasized that God’s integrity is perfect and His promises are sure.

He further explained that many Christians fall into doubt during difficult times, forgetting that God operates beyond human understanding. “When God speaks, even if it doesn’t make sense immediately, it will surely come to pass,” he said. “He doesn’t need to manipulate or deceive—His word alone is power.”

The Overcomers Convention, which draws believers from around the world, has been a platform for spiritual renewal and divine encounters. Pastor Adeboye’s message was rooted in Scripture, echoing passages that speak to God's faithfulness and eternal truth, such as Numbers 23:19 — “God is not a man, that He should lie.”

He encouraged the congregation to stand firm on God’s word regardless of what their physical circumstances may suggest. Using biblical examples like Abraham and Joseph, he illustrated how faith in God’s promises led to divine fulfilment, even when everything seemed impossible.

The Holy Ghost Service also featured fervent worship, testimonies of healing, and prophetic declarations. Pastor Adeboye's calm yet piercing delivery reminded the crowd that God has no reason to mislead His children, and that delay is not denial.

Online reactions to the message were overwhelmingly positive, with many quoting the statement across platforms and testifying about how it spoke directly to their situations. “This is the reassurance I needed,” a viewer wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “God doesn’t gain anything by lying. So I’ll keep trusting.”

The Overcomers Convention continues through the weekend, with more sessions, teachings, and impartations lined up. Pastor Adeboye’s message has already set a strong spiritual tone, urging believers everywhere to walk in faith, and not by sight.
